When I came across Pretty Boy, it instantly struck me as a piece of gold. In fact, I questioned why a film this good would be available for free online – it certainly is a treat for filmmaker Cameron Thrower to allow the world to see his masterpiece at no cost.
The film is a thought-provoking look at how parents can negatively impact the health of a young person dealing with their sexuality. In the film, the protagonist Sean, a gay teen, is challenged to “undo” his homosexuality via an 18th birthday gift from his father – sex with a prostitute.
